Sushi in Prague

The Sushi Bar

The Sushi Bar is located on the Malá Strana, or Lesser Town side of the river and is regarded as one of the best sushi restaurants in Prague. Evidence of its high standard is The Sushi Bar's first position in Maurer's Grand Restaurant Guide in the Food category.

The Sushi Bar, which was the first sushi establishment to open in the Czech Republic in 1999, has an attractive, light interior that is both modern and unpretentious. The restaurant is rather small but feels open and airy thanks to the high ceilings, large windows and pale golden walls; the carefully designed room feels spacious in fact, instead of cramped. The sushi menu is extensive and thanks to the friendly and professional staff members who are more than happy to answer any questions regarding sushi that you may have, you will be able to order accordingly and to sample delicious Japanese delicacies. The selection of sushi on the menu is first-rate by Central European standards and includes Nigiri, Temaki and Sashimi sushi, plus an exclusive selection of Maki such as the Sake-Mango (salmon and mango), Ebi Ten (shrimp fried in tempura), Jet-Lack (salmon, wasabi and avocado), and the Hokigai (arctic big surf clam). The sushi selection also features a number or rolls made only with vegetables including cucumbers, avocadoes, marinated beetroot and more. The menu also offers a number of starters, soups, fish dishes and fresh salads such as the Wakame Sarada (seaweed salad with cucumber and dressing), and the Maguro Avocado (fresh avocado and tuna salad). If you are looking for a great sushi establishment to spend a fine evening at sampling the Japanese delicacy, The Sushi Bar is our top choice. Furthermore, next door to The Sushi Bar is the Seefood Shop operated by the same company named Seefood where you can purchase many delicious groceries.
